William S. Varade, III is an Associate in the New York office of Labaton Keller Sucharow LLP. William focuses on prosecuting complex securities fraud cases on behalf of institutional investors.
Prior to joining the Firm, William was an Assistant District Attorney at the Sullivan County District Attorney’s Office in New York, where he conducted dozens of hearings in criminal matters and successfully prosecuted cases at trial to conviction. Prior to that, he was an Associate at Seyfarth Shaw LLP.
William is an active member of the New York State Bar Association.
William received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law where he was an Articles Editor for the St. John’s Law Review, President of the Labor Relations and Employment Law Society, and a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing. While in law school, William was an Intern in the Queens County Supreme Court under Justice Leonard Livote as well as a Law Clerk to the National Football League, Management Council. He received his bachelor’s degree from Canisius College.
