Michael Caamaño is an Investigator in the New York Office of Labaton Keller Sucharow LLP. Michael’s primary responsibilities include collecting key evidence to support case development, ranging from securities fraud matters to whistleblower representation.
Before joining the Firm, Michael was an Investigative Analyst for the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation, where he conducted comprehensive investigations involving individuals and entities, and verified personal information and traced assets connected to fraudulent activity. During graduate school, Michael was an Investigative Intern at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, where he analyzed evidence and reviewed various testimonies from witnesses and suspects.
Michael earned his Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University, where he also obtained a Financial Crime Certificate. He also received his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Rutger’s University.
